Young love elopement

Today’s gorgeous Italian elopement by Michael and Carina Photography feels like an old world dream. The crumbling plaster walls, the muted nature-driven color palette, and the stunning heirloom quality embellishments by Enchanted Atelier by Liv Hart are giving us all the heart eyes! Wedding Sparrow favorite, stylist and planner Honey and Cinnamon Wed, designed every element with this sweet couple in mind. We’re falling in love with the quiet little moments between these two…

Romantic Italian Wedding Inspiration

There’s just something about Italy that makes me weak in the knees. From its’ coastal cliffs to its’ colorfully faded architecture, it’s easy to see why Castello Brown Portofino was the perfect place for Rebecca Arthurs to capture the stylings of  Princess Wedding, those stunning florals by  Il Profumo Dei Fiori, and a perfect cake by Nana & Nana. Take a dip in the entire gallery here.

Romantic Italian bridal inspiration

When NEW ORLEANS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER ERIKA PARKER was planning a month long trip to Italy, she’d worked out an extensive itinerary – what to see, where to go, but then it suddenly dawned on her that she couldn’t go to Italy without doing some sort of shoot! After connecting with Federica from HONEY & CINNAMON WED – who’s based in the Marche region of Italy, on the Adriatic Sea – they set about creating this lovely bridal shoot. Erika tells us, “The landscape is lovely, with rolling hills dotted with olive orchards and farm land. Everything about it is breath taking. With Federica’s help we pulled together a really amazing styled shoot at a private villa in Ancona, Italy. The beauty of the surrounding landscape was reflected in the location, the rolling hills, the orchards, the weather was beautiful, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.”

Indigo Wedding Inspiration

This beautiful styled shoot was captured on the shores of Lake Orta in Italy, on the grounds of the San Rocco Hotel which sits facing San Giulio Island. Lake Orta is the less well known yet some say most charming of Italy’s northern lakes- the others being Lake Maggiore, Lake Como and Lake Garda- and the small town of Orta San Giulio is a gorgeous location for a destination wedding. The shoot is a collaboration between destination wedding photographer Paola Colleoni, fashion designer Serena Poletto Ghella and destination wedding planner Barbara Pederzini. It is the first of three projects inspired by colors, and it draws its inspiration from the color indigo blue, and the mood originating from it. We adore the stationery kit designed by Caratterino which draws on the metaphor of navigation, featuring the outline of a nautical map and stars providing directions with gold foil lettering and details.

1920s Italian bridal inspiration

The inspiration for this moody, romantic shoot by Erica Brenci of Les Amis Photo comes from the beautiful venue, Villa Ida Lampugnani, near Milan—and we absolutely see why! In keeping with the Art Nouveau period, referred to as Liberty Style in Italy, stationery by Cristiano Guerra of Princess Event Design + Wedding Planningtakes its cues from the home’s intricate furnishings. Elegant table settings are like an extension of model Viviana’s ethereal Jenny Packham gown and glittery platform heels, and we’re swooning over the romantic hairpieces she incorporated! There are so many gorgeous images to swoon over—visit the gallery to lose yourself in them all!
